Meh, I didn't like it too much. All you could see were the 3 pits with the terra cotta soldiers in them... and the pits weren't completely excavated. A lot of the soldiers were broken, too. I wanna go back in 10 years when they finish the job.  |

Oooh, or go into the actual tomb, which is supposed to be amazing (but is closed to the public). Of course, if you saw the Emperor's tomb and army, you'd probably be killed to protect it's location/contents. LOL

I've pretty much seen all there is to see around here. The terracotta warriors are kinda...um...crap. To be honest theres not much to see and say about a bunch of statues, a lot of them disfigured. Its like the great wall, you gotta go and see it...but once you get there, theres not much to be done about it.

Heh... I agree about the soldiers, but the wall was different. My brother and I climbed up the steeper half.... and I mean steep. In places the wall was going up at a 60 degree angle. Man, that was hard. :ph34r: By the way, I have the long-awaited picture gallery here!!! Go to this site to see them. BTW- you might have to register, so just do so. |
