Looks like it... last time I checked Orc00 was on top. But that was last night. I think he lost, though. The OSA board also has a little flash presentation saying 'Age 2 mission was a SUCCESS'.

my KOC account was hit by a Denial of Service attack. Making it so I could not buy, repair, sell, or even attack others.

The only possible way he could know what happened with the database is if the admins had told him, which he's already said they haven't. But let's theorise: A simple read transaction takes maybe 100ms. So to lock someone's record you would need ten hits every second, for how long did he say, 12 hours? That's 43,200 seconds. Okay, but one person can keep refreshing? Well, it would take them, shall we say three seconds? Being very generous there. Now assuming we can get people to sit at a machine for twelve hours hitting F5 every three seconds, you wanna know how many people that would need? ten per second, times 43,200 seconds, divided by three. That gives 144,000 people. LS is claiming that there was a co-ordinated attack of over a hundred thousand clients on him, consistantly for twelve hours.Well, you've got to give him credit for the originality and sheer audacity of his claim? :rolleyes: Bah. |

I agree. I know more about DoS attacks than most, and if anything near that level of attack had been performed, then the game would have been unplayable for everyone.

LordStriker doesn't answer questions that would make him look like a liar. He was asked HOW his money was being spent.... unless orc00 was taking it (he was the only one who had the SA to do that).... then it was quite obvious that LordStriker was able to spend his gold... he conveniently chooses to ignore those simple questions and instead throw out some technical jargon in hopes of throwing people off the question. |
