15 you can get a permit to drive with your 'rents and people over the age of 21
16 by yourself but only at certain hours (unless driving to/from work)
17 by yourself no restrictions

where you are at least  in ny we have to be 16 to get a permit, and of course my 16th was on a sunday so I had to wait a day to get my permit :/ |

just before we're 17 we can apply for a provisional license then from 17 we can drive with someone whos been driving for atleast 5 years until we pass our test, which can be anywhere past your 17th b'day

+ no speed limits, I bet.  And on a side note, my brother now has a junior license, even though he's only 15 (when I got my senior one, I gave him my old junior). Now he can legally drive, so long as he changes his height, eye color, hair color, and pretends he is older than in reality! LOL |

+ no speed limits, I bet. nah...not anymore they had to put up limits or the federal government was going to stop funding their road services or whatnot...but thats old news |
