I do smell a future Darwin award! LOL I want one of those lamps for when I go away to college... it'll look cool in a dorm. Besides, what else should I get for Christmas (I already have a plasma ball).  |

actually pressure building up slowly will be worse, because the galss should be able to take more strain if its applied gently, so once the liquids expanded enough to burst the glass you have a greater force to throw shards about Yeah, but the news story said it happened very quickly  . |
