Opper that was my point in mentioning her. She's kind of ugly w/ her cap on. Go Phelps

LOL vd Hoogenband won 4 gold medals last olympics i believe and he was the one that caused the US getting bronze at the 4x100, we (the Netherlands) were 4th before he started the last 100m and were 2nd when he finished for years he and Thorpe were recordholders on the mayor distances (free stroke), but of course you chauvinistic americans only watch the university swimming and don't realize you get pawned by the dutch <_< you don't know Inge de Bruin either? cause i believe she won 7 (!) medals on the last olympics, she doesn't do that well until now this year tho

it wasn't necessarily hoogenband that caused us to lose the relay. Ian Crocker wasn't feeling well for the race and he only went out a 50 second hundred, when he should have been able to go at least under 49. and then the last person on the american relay went out way too fast on his first 50 and tired himself out and that's why the hoogie got ahead. sorry opper

but still he got the fastest split (rest of the dutch team isn't that good) and has allways been the one of the best swimmers together with thorpe, he dominated all important championships so still it's weird you don't know the guy when you like to follow the swimming stuff you should go find yourself a list of the world records and who got them when of the past 6 years or so, if i remember it right well he has been dominating the 100m freestyle for years

I would like to be a rythmic gymnast, but I'm not as freakishly flexible as that.

hehe sharky, v/d Hoogenband strikes again!!! he won gold @ the most important swimming distance again (2 times in a row, which places him with the legends popov and weissmuller) 100m freestyle, no americans, no thorpedo
