I think that portugal will just becuz they're the host country, they'll have the crowd on their side and that does play a role...althought Greece has had many many players step up during this tournament.

greece isn't about the players, i'm quite confident that we'll never hear of most of them again (they won't become stars suddenly...) it's the team, the spirit, the mentality, the underdog position and the coach that'll make them champions (i think...) as far as i know a host country never became champion, but well... they allmost allways got knocked out in the semi finals, and portugal knocked us out there... as everybody knows, there's cheating, lies and there are statistics (or something like that...)

I don't care who wins, because I think both teams are ecstatic for getting as far as they did, and second place is a great acheivement for either of them.

well portugal thought they were going to win the tournament and they were favourites (together with france and cech republic) the greece on the other hand only booked their hotel for as long as the poule matches took place LOL it would be so much fun if they won, and it'd make all supposed 'top' countries look stupid and not just every country except portugal  |
