Um.... Just suppose Hitler didn't take out his anger at all the Jews... another 6 million people for his war machine. Though I suppose he wouldn't have been able to take power in the first place then, without the "Great Lie." EDIT: I read the initial article for this topic, and it's actually interesting.

Reading is bad for you.
more like 11 million or something...6 million was how many he killed. He could have solely blamed it on the gypsies though.

Really....I would go check my history notes, but that class was fucking dumb since she told us to turn in all our notes at the end of the course. Therefore I have no reference. I think there were 11 million Jews though, but Hitler was a failure and couldn't kill all of them.

First off, Hitler killed millions of people. The exact total can never be known. There were scores of people murdered and disposed of. Hitler made the exact same mistake Napoleon made by trying to invade Russia in the Winter. His supplies were too far behind the troops because of his rapid expansion, and the Russians were burning fields and villages so that nothing was left behind for the Germans. With the Germans wearing summer uniforms, beign inadequately supplied, and just outmanned they never stood a chance. After the end of World War II, The united States and Russia contolled Europe. The United States pulled out but there were millions of surviving Jews flocking to the US. Because of this they created Israel in 1954 as the "New Jewish Homeland". That is why the Israeli Air Force, flies US planes and uses US weapons and training. One litle tidbit of information is the fact that France sold a nuclear reactor and enrichment facility to Iraq. This has been some time ago, but as soon as construction was complete Israel destroyed it. Those Weapons of Mass destrcution would have existed had that not happened. I feel the war on terror was simply a ruse for President Bush to finish the war that his father had started a decade before. He was formulating a military strategy for going into Iraq before the September 11 bombing. There is no oil agenda. OPEC controls the world oil market, and there is no way that the US could ever take that oil. Now war is always good for the economy, and I think that was one of the reasons. The world was in a recession and there is nothing like a good war to boost the economy.
Sorry for the long post but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew what the facts were.

1- War is not always good for the economy (especially if you lose it), and the economy always goes into a short recession after a war.
2- There is an oil agenda- while the US occupies Iraq, they can control how much oil is exported onto the world market.
3- The current war did have a... dubious origin. LOL

The "recession" after the war is truly not a recession. They generally only last for a few weeks up to about 90 days. That is very mild in today's fast paced economy. I would never doubt the gfact that the US got into the war for the wrong reasons, but you are mistaken in the fact that the US controls oil output for the country while occupying. Iraq is still a member of OPEC (organization of the petroleum exporting countries), and OPEC decides how much oil can enter the world market. Even if Iraq tried to flood the market with oil, the rest of OPEC would just cut production. I grew up in the Texas oil industry and know all about that stuff, plus my military experience lends to my knowledge of Iraqi policy.

I kinda meant that the U.S. controls the oil pipeline out of the country (and can fix it at will... heh), not necessarily each barrel of oil exported.

well, i think most of our oil comes from saudi arabia. which would explain why the bush family and the saudi's have always been so goody goody with each other.
