We had to because communism would've spread [] and we'd have a lot more to deal with There's a lot less wrong with communism than capitalism.  Though the best way forward is a balance of both methods. |

Nah, with a perfect population any government system will work well.
The main problem with communism is greedyness, (which isn't helped by so many people over-valueing money), and power-hungry people that want to control others.

Capitalism is much better than communsim. When the government begins overly interfering in the economy, or starts promoting too many social welfare programs, the country falls into shambles.  |

wasn't gorbachev a good commie? and isnt bush like..... :blink: Gorbachev tried to reform the USSR, which led to pretty much each republic demanding their own country. The union fell apart, and Gorbachev's job of head of the communist party became obsolete. |
