Forgot I registered...
Downloading the client right now Smiley

Username is AerieChan Smiley
took a little bit of effort trying to remember what I used...

EDIT:
ok, i tried two games.
now i have two questions:
1. how the heck do you shoot? the help files don't say anything about it, and there doesn't seem to be a clear indication how to do so in-game
2. why do i get timed out from the "network"?? got kicked off the game both times because of this :|

1. you adjust the angle of your shot with the up and down arrow keys.
2. you move your little dude with the left and right arrow keys.
3. you wait for your turn to shoot
4. to shoot: first select a shot type (1,2,3) in the little boxes on the lower left, then hold down the space bar and release to fire the weapon.  (the longer you hold it, the farther the shot)
5. you can also pick some (free) upgrades at the beginning of the match in the waiting room, use these in the battle when it's your turn to fire.  if you mouse over them when you're choosing them, it gives you a brief description of what they do.

hit me up on irc or aim if you want to play.  my name on gunbound is: 4w0rd

...
oh, and i think you get timed out when you are too laggy or something.

you get the most gold when you win large games.. (i.e. 4 vs 4), but beware of the stackers.  some guys like to stack up all the newbs on one side and make it completely unfair.  don't get stuck on the newb side.

also, i tried adding AerieChan to my buddy list, but it didn't seem to work... maybe you have to be online at the same time?

yeah.
3rd-person multiplayer cartoon-y mini-war kinda game

the lag/time-outs are a bummer, because on the one hand it can and will mess up your aim which could mean a matter of deciding who wins and who loses, and on the other hand it can kick you out of the game and out of the program... if it does that you'll have to re-run the game and log back in, etc...

I don't know if you know this or not, but if you've created an account before the 6th of July you are entitled to an extra 30k of gold and 2 pieces of clothing which btw have no bonuses attached to them.

I'm usually playing on this, and can find me on server 12 most of the time, just add me when you feel up to it.

If you're unfamiliar with GB, try out Pocket Tanks first. It's the same concept, and I think PT is a great trainer to GB.

oh the changes don't really affect us, its just some benefits to people who decide to pay real money for those benefits, but i'm a cheapskate and unwilling to pay for something unless its worthwhile.
