I think the majority of people here are from around or in the UK...but did anybody watch the Oscars? If not then too bad for you, but all you missed was Lord of the Rings tying the record for most awards: 11. It tied the Titanic and one other movie that i can't remember. it was so funny...every single nomination it got, it won.

I watched clips online.  yeah  lotr did awesome. shame  there were no acting noms  they  deserved it.

But yea...too bad they didn't beat Titanic b/c that really was a corny movie.

Johnny Depp seriously should have won best actor...he was best in the group, instead it went to ..... :blink: I can't remember...but he should've won by far. He lost to the guy from Mystic River...oh yeah, Shawn, Sean? Penn LOL
