Nope; it's got shit DRM stuff. Also, several people have said it's very dissapointing.

the begginning is good, very addictive, but when you get to the last stage it stagnates very quickly

Spore was massively disappointing and a huge let down, but some people are working on an attempt to fix its failures with Thrive.

I've not tried it, and currently only the Microbe stage is playable, but it's under active development so worth keeping an eye on.
