Hmm... If people post numbers, then others might (and probably will) read that before posting, which will skew results.  (Hence my obscure prediction).  Could you put it in invisible text, or similar?

he wants to know how stupid weird we are, and to see how people deal with "random" numbers Tongue people aren't very good at being random all the time, normally people want to see a pattern.
I think that's what he's trying to do...

I chose what used to be my favourite number.

I liked the number eight when I was younger, because it was impossible to write it backwards.
