i figured out why american Tv quality is so bad the other day. we were watching contact (the film where jody foster is the geeky frustrated scientist) and they kept cutting Bill Clinton into TV scenes, but of course they made the Tv quality as bad as it really is so you could make out any discernable difference where theyd cud the 2 film strips.
