I know we've had this discussion before, but maybe we should start thinking of expanding again.  Not into another online browser-based game, but prehaps into a commercial game.  Personally, I would love if we would expand into Halo, or some other fps, because I specialize in those as my computer game of choice.
I'm just saying, most of us have a type of computer game we love to play, and most of us excel at what we do.  Why not put our skills to good use in spreading The Great Alliance into new areas?

So essentially you're saying TGA should be a clan?
One problem with that is that games without persistant worlds (Halo, UT, etc) mean meeting up at specific times and playing matches against other clans.
Which doesn't just require specialisation, or whatever, it requires lots of co-ordination and dedication.

The good things with TGA as it is, is that we have a relaxed atmosphere, and you don't need to turn up at 7pm every Thursday, or whatever - you just join in when you can.

I'm not opposed to having TGA take on the world through other games, but it isn't easy; it might just be better to stick with browser-based stuff.

Maybe. I'm just saying that a lot of browser based games seem to lose their flavor fairly quickly compared to a lot of computer games.  But hey, nobody's forced to do anything, so do what you want.  Wink

you know.. many clans are large enough so there are not necessarily all the members on at the same time, but it is nice to be online w/2 or 3 members of your clan.  in games like AA, teamwork is very important and it's good to know how your teammates play to be successful.

Ok, hmmm. Why not just have everyone list the games that they have/play online and any matches can meet up and play together, with a TGA|Name tag if they want, but don't actually go full-time into playing clan games and stuff?

Well, for online games, TGA could expand into Wythia... *hint hint*

But how about making a clan in the only computer game I play: diablo  LOL Or maybe Warcraft would be a better choice?  Tongue

well, maybe diablo2. but stuff like that is more for fun, instead of being a competition.

Well for me, I play both Dark Eden (free), and Priston Tale (free until you reach level 40), and both support clans. I think. Can't remember. Yeah. They do. xD
