Ok, here's the deal. A long time ago, like back on the old forum, somebody did the math and discovered that each post costs SS half a cent to keep online, hence the reason that has been in my sig since forever.
anyways, I thought that it would be fun if we counted up just how much that would amount to on the board.
It's easy: just take the reply count and divide it by two. That's the number of pennies. Then just put that in relation to dollars. after that, just post it here, and either myself or a mod will edit it in. then we'll have a grand total at the bottom.

on a slightly related note:
if posts cost SS .5 cents, how much does each page view of threads cost SS?
because i'm pretty sure the server package SS has is based on bandwidth as well(unless it's unlimited-until-the-techs-catch-on-to-massive-transfers)
ignore this if SS replies saying it's unlimited bandwidth...

I'm pretty sure you could count the ones in the spam area...but that's kind of hard b/c then you would have to go to find all of your posts and count those. I have 75 pages of posts.

Well... technically I had an additional 200, but I didn't include those in the calculating.  Don't take my word as the correct total though... I'm in AP math and still can't do simple algebra. LOL |
