:| I'm not going to start drinking alcohol. That's a slightly strange emoticon... Oh well. And as for alcohol, why don't you drink it? (I avoid it myself, by the way).

That's a slightly strange emoticon It is. I think I might have meant to use  or something. And as for alcohol, why don't you drink it? Never been given a good enough reason to drink it. Plus I don't need/want to get drunk to enjoy myself, I don't like how most of it tastes, and it's stupidly expensive.

I don't drink either; I have hard enough time keeping my wits about me already You have wits? One very good thing about not drinking is if you're invited to an office party-type affair, and everyone _else_ gets drunk. 'Tis a very interesting thing to watch.

well you don't have to drink to get drunk... i haven't been drunk in weeks now, but i couldn't do without a nice cold beer (especially with these temperatures) and well... when playing poker, you should have a whiskey with it

well you don't have to drink to get drunk... There's a type of alcohol that you can eat, now? Or inhale...?

nah i mean you can drink alcohol and not get drunk but well there's lots of different foods with alcohol in it (bonbons, deserts) and of course you can inhale alcohol if you set a drink with a high percentage on fire, don't let the gasses get away and inhale it, you should try sometime it gets to your head a lot quicker, but well it actually is a waste of the (expensive) drink... i only did that stuff when i was a bartender

On a recent waitressing job, I cleared away so many half-full glasses that I could have become well and truly sloshed just by breathing too much. (However, you never know where those people have _been_, so I was careful not to ingest any fumes from glasses they had previously been using.) I did, however, have some rather expensive free orange juice.

Orange juice tends to make me feel highly queasy. Although I can eat oranges without issue... which makes me wonder if it's a psychological reaction.

*pats smi reassuringly* Hornet - if orange juice isn't your thing, they were giving away some very nice bath bombs to the female guests, so some of the waitresses snagged some of them. I ended up with one that has little floral bits in it.

Which? The patting smi or the talking to Hornet about baths?
I'll answer both, just in case. Hornet doesn't have to worry about being seduced into a bath with floral bits, as I'm sure he realises - floral bath bombs are only used on very special occasions, and definitely not on first dates. (Not if the girl has any class, anyway.) And smi was not passed at all - otherwise it would have been a wave.

you consider a pat to be less of a pass than a wave?
i meant hornet. i never want to use those bath bomb things, ive been given a few but i can never bring myself to use things that only work once, i tend to horde them; damn hunter gatherer business

you consider a pat to be less of a pass than a wave? Well, yes. If it passes him (sideways), it's a wave. If it makes contact (goes forward), it's a pat. Do you know nothing of the art of sideways and forward swipeage? <_<
