most browers cache images by default. you just have to check how often that cache is cleared. if you set it so it only gets cleared manually, you should be set. You can also check to make sure that your browser isnt set to refresh all info every time, and make the cache as big as you want to keep images saved longer.
do you use internet explorer? if you're running WinXP, go to c:Documents and Settings[user name]local settingstemporary internet filescontent.ie5
that folder probably won't show up if you browse there, but go to start->run and type it in there. you can check whats in the cache.

dude, the problem is not just in this.. maybe i should write more... like have't it happened to you to attack someone and wait maybae 1-2 minutes to see the result?! everything could be much more faster and of course they can make beautiful and big images which will not make them so much transfer and slow everything up...

cached images are saved on your computer. isnt that what you were talking about? saving them on your comp so you didnt have to download them every time? of course, part of the reason the servers are slow is because so many people are on at once--nothings gonna help that except an upgrade to the server. i suppose not having people constantly downloading the images would esae the strain though, but thats what i was talking about above.

ok.. I'll make myself more clearer! KOC players are gettin more and more. Upgrading the server isn't like upgrading your CA... A fact is that servers aren't fast enough! A fact is that with software people won't have to download picture but only text. A fact is that this way servers can run like hell... ok? :hehe:

if the images are cached, you only download text! the images are cached=saved on your computer=not downloaded every time.

well, my two cents: 1. as mentioned already, there's plenty of people playing the game. making the images cached will certainly lessen the bandwidth usage, but only to a certain degree. 2. what's the use of a few hundred people doing this compared to the thousands that don't even check the forums?
otherwise, you don't particularly need any special program/new stuff to download to do something like that(as mentioned in that post of yours in GUA)... like i said, idon't think it's all too important (VERY small fraction of the players ever check the forums)

at least one of the admins played the game as of Age 1... no idea if he's still playing in Age 2 and don't give ideas for age 3 when there's still problems in this one, besides, you can't expect them to keep the deadline they gave anyway as said earlier.
