There's some rotten books in there, but I agree that it deserves an ending. It's pretty much his life's work.

I've heard rumours that it might be offered to George RR Martin to complete (under RJ's family's moderation/whatever).

Could be interesting if that is the case, although he probably has his hands full with aSoIaF already.

That would be both good - because Martin is twice the author Jordan ever was - and bad - because it will put the next ASOIAF book back.
