We now have a huge onion plant in the back garden. I planted an onion a few weeks ago after seeing it had sprouted, and now it's grown ridiculously tall and has a bud thing on the end of it.  |

Sadly, no. We do need to get some sunflowers at some point, though. They're pretty. And we used to have beanstalks, which were fun. |

havent had sun flowers for soem years now, i think there too flimsy the only fun bit about them is when they start to die and you get to cut the heads off and rub the seeds out of them

That was a terrible pun.
Apparently you shouldn't feed too many sunflower seeds to rats, as they contain a lot of fat - I'm not sure if the same applies to mice.
