in other news, Apple recently released the iPod Figment, an iPod so small it can't be seen with the naked eye and may not actually exist.

got that from the Borowitz Report, hilarious.

I haven't seen one yet.  I went to the store and saw a pile of boxes...but they don't have the same little window that lets you see what's inside... for some reason... I didn't want to touch it in order to further investigate...

They do look like you can snap them in half, but apparantly they're incredibly tough.

how is the freedom of moving what you want on and off of them?  or do you have to use other software/hack a little to get what you want?

Talking of other software...

Thanks for your input, sundry and all, most useful.  Currently considering a mini-CD player, the only downside appearing to be the battery-munching.

MP3's are going to take over, because they are superior. I just think the MD players are a pain..but hey, i suppose if you get one of those remote deals it would be alright..

It's all about personal preferance. I don't know what you do during your day, which is a pretty big factor.

The only thing MP3s are superior to is 22KHz WAVs.

...in your being able to sleep at night

we had a discussion about that in physics today, apparently its just and upgrade to the nano but as our teacher point out who the hell would want to watch videos on a 1inch screen?!?!?
