The great white shark had been taking a few little bits out of the other fish. It wasn't eating them, it was just sort of ..playing.. with them, and because the other fish had always been in the tank, they didn’t protect themselves from the great white.
[me thinks]I think it was also true that hey didn't want to keep this shark because it would have out grown its tank, at which point the shark might have become too dependent to be released into the wild again. This is why I’m sort of glad it’s free again. Despite the fact that I didn’t get to see it when it was still in the tank...<_< [/me thinks]
