Great stuff. I hate when I'm supposed to be doing something and the internet distracts me. Also if I don't have the internet it distracts me b/c it feels as if it's my right to have it on the computer.
The computer feels so incomplete without the internet that I can't focus. I probably couldn't focus anyway. Pressure is good sometimes. Especially the peer kind.

What I used to do was kill my dial-up by setting up some ungodly download that I'd only be able to finish in like, a month or two.... Now that I have DSL, I really don't have the time to even keep this computer downloading or even up and running. Yes, this computer has actually been turned OFF!!! *gasp! When I need to get a bunch of stuff done (Like a three chapters worth of homework…), I just go someplace else. Like when I was a little kid, I do HW at the kitchen table. It's actually nice and quiet because I'm the only one in the house these days, and the neighbors are normally quiet.

Bah- what fun is doing homework without a computer? When I decide to do HW, it's lying on my bed listening to music from my computer (no, I am not totally dependent on it!)

the only other place I do my homework is on my bed b/c I don't like people to look at me, and I have a twin bed so you can imagine how uncomfortable that is.

just my room. I don't like sitting up to do my work anyway. It gives me cramps if I sit up right for too long.

if you have good posture, then I would hope that you wouldn't get cramps. Or else you were getting crapms because where/what you were sitting wasn't good for your good posture...

Well, you see it's not easy to have good posture. What looks good sometimes isn't really good for you. I find more comfort in the awkward positions... coincidently lying down or upside down.

Being a good example is hard. I’m trying to serve as a horrible warning instead.
