Some stuff while I was away:
I ended getting DSL, so I had to set up stuff (cuz I had dial-up before. Incase you forgot) I ended up having to learn to setup routers, and found out that the one I got didn’t do what I wanted it to do (like port forwarding and withstanding 200 simultaneous connections, and not burnout). I also formatted my computer because it had been a long time and it was starting to die

21 invalid directory entries were corrected
2 crosslinks were corrected
931 lost clusters were saved as files

I have no clue how the stupid thing was even working with all that. As it was, the computer hadn’t been able to shutdown for a few months… :unsure:
Anyway, the whole formatting thing is still taking place. I can’t seem to get some internet stuff to work

It’s important to let svchost.exe have access to internet on UDP port 53. if you don’t… well without DNS (that’s what UDP port 53 is BTW), you can’t access the internet…

But ya, in all the crap that’s been going on with my computer, I lost my bookmarks, so I had no easy way of finding this forum gain. I still don’t even have AIM up…
