I've recently been sucked in by the addictiveness of this game. Who here plays regularly? I think it would be cool to hook up on there and see what you've got...AIM Galmort if you ever want to.

I play pretty much regularly... I use a number of names, i.e. West, Zeronax, Arkanor, etc. As to my skill, it varies with the lag. On some servers I look like I just started playing, but on others I have 60:15 ratios. Unfortunately, my favorite (read: fastest) servers are converting to Source, so I'll probably have to acquire that illegally somehow. Anyone know a download site for it?

I doubt it will be that easy. I've read that Valve are killing all suspicious Steam accounts, and you can't play it except through Steam, so...

mole, don't be silly - Valve care about getting money, not about making things easy for gamers.  Ripper - you finished it yet? I've read lots of people being dissapointed with the ending & how short the game is. |

Yea well they suck.
Lasted me... 20 ish hours on Normal. So around average for an FPS.
Nothing wrong with the ending, they only moan cause they waited 6 years and its a cliffhanger, they cant be arsed to wait for HL3, which should come quicker cause they arent going to redesign the whole engine again, infact I think most of its gonna stay the same, models and such, just gonna do a kinda of expansion pack, but with the rest/more of the story.
Endings nice anyway, you get to decide what happens rather than it being shown to you.
Steam always has been "User Friendly" it just sucks. :|

You all suck
Steam is great
It's so freaking easy too
If you want to run a server,just make sure you open the right ports...
It still has some problems with "friends" but overall steam is really good
It had it's problems during its first beta's but works like a charm now

Yea, friends sucks cock.
The reason I hate it mostly, is because I get Authentication errors every time I try to connect to a CS:S server, I have to type retry over 20 times just to get on.
