Ok, ive come across some sound files that i find fairly funny, mainly, These.
each of those sounds represents a different funcion in windows, either deleting a file, shuting down, starting up, or an error message.
does anybody know what i would have to do to actually set those to play when that funcion occurs?

Control Panel - Sounds and Audio devices (change to classic view, its easyer to find) - click the Sounds tab, and there you have it.

yeah, but you gotta remember: I grew up using dos, as a fucking six year old, because back then, all the good games were played through dos.  So therefore, I didnt grow up with the need to master windows. So I didn't. Cheesy

Only an extra two years.
Although being a computer nerd and running to the computer room at every lunch & breaktimes probably helped me along a bit. Tongue
