However, I know for a fact that Saladin's army did not rape and pillage in Antioch, and that he was able to keep a tight leash on them. Consult any history book. Besides, it was his city to begin with.

Consult any history book...  Lanair, who wrote the history?  Not the vanquished, I assure you.

nah its true, Saladin had a heart, but he probably wanted good pr and it would raise some doubts if there was ever another Crusade

He was trying to avoid another Crusade; hence the spin left, right and center.  (Some things never change).   And you're telling me that he kept every single member of his army under complete control, and that none of them killed any of the NC wounded or surrendered in the city?  Reference Rug's post above.

Hornet, whats your sig mean?

I dont waddle

Does that imply that although you don't waddle, "demonic/nasty, has a mushroom shapped head (or giant blue mexican hat), and needs jumping on" is an apt description of you?  Hmm.

And my signature is Latin; ten points to the first person to translate it.  And no, Babelfish doesn't even stand a chance.

LOL!  Gotta love Latin.  A better translation would be "From the depths, and still not satisfied".

It was a code to trigger the automation functions of a virus my friend and I were writing.  We had most of the 98 boxes under the influence, but then they upgraded to XP over one of the holidays, and that was that.

 :hmmm:  :hmmm:  :hmmm:  :hmmm:

Even Christian history books, written by the vanquished, say he never killed anyone in Antioch.

And Greek is a better language than Latin.  Tongue
