I'm in big love with my boyfriend from Canada, already for a long time we have a dream to marry, but we cannot do it, because USA laws dont allow gay marriages Sad
However, I was hearing in England people do gay marriages, but we dont have enough money for the tickets Sad
Can you help us with a small penny to make our dream alive?
Thank you a lot!!!

Meh, it might even be plausible if A: we were daft Americans, and not mostly English, B: we didn't know that England doesn't allow them, but _San Francisco_ does, and C: the grammar was actually accurate.  Oh, and the website now has a very prominent notice saying that it's being spammed at by e-mails and forum posts to boot.

I really need to finish that captcha.  :miffed:

That's Civil Partnerships. Which are like "Marriage Lite" - no religious ceremony and not as many tax reductions.

Something like that. They get treated as a married couple, rather than two individuals, and so pay less.

...or at least I thought that was the case, but I can't find anything to back it up.

'Tis the case, but it's been renamed now to something else... I saw a reference to it the other day, which I now can't find.  Feh.  :miffed:

The Married Couples Tax Allowance thingy SS was talking about.  I couldn't find a reference to it that I'd seen a few days ago at the time of the post.
