my roomie knows people who know people at blizzard and got a beta account. from the bit i've played, it seems pretty involved....i'm new to these sorts of game but it seems pretty awesome.
bit laggy at times(k....sometimes its downright infuriating) but when it does work right....its good times.
anyone else here on the beta?

sweet. any idea on when the actual thing comes out though? i'm waiting for starcraft ghost even though blizzard shouldn't be making shooters <_<

the release is months off.....they're constantly making adjustments and such.....and like i said, the game is still far too laggy for people to actually be paying for it. That said, the whole persistant world thingy is super cool

when the game is released, there'll be a monthly fee to pay.....as of right now for the beta testing everything is free assuming you can get an account

i hope this game aint a flop- i loved warcraft 3, and its kinad off that there are so many damn forums for a game that hasnt even been relaseasd

agreed...
well, partly.
I got tired all the way back in WarCraft.
WCII and expansion were just repeats
and SC/BW just were stupid.
I actually tried WCIII thoroughly, and still found it boring.
Blizzard needs a better hobby than keeping on putting out copies...

simple really.....it sucks. too centered around the heros is my biggest gripe with it. hmm, now i have a craving for W2 though.....I remeber the good old days playing that endlessly on the college lan  |
