Rug, go buy the Chevelle CD. You'd like it. Or just download a bunch of their songs. Family System, Comfortable Liar, and Forfeit are really good. The Red, Send the Pain Below, and Closure are their singles. Download away.

I'm making an official announcement right here that if the Packers beat the Eagles this weekend, I will never show my face in these forums again. I'll be gone forever. No more reading posts and no making of new posts.

I liked that movie a lot for some reason. What I really wanna do though is see the alternate ending that's supposedly on the DVD version. It seems like such a waste to rent it just for that. Has anyone seen the alternate ending? I'm really curious.

I got the same. I was actually polite about it because he donated a couple million gold to my war funds while his autobuyer was broken.

I said St. Louis. The others are all way too cold. I would have loved to have said Eagles but the wind in their stadium is absolutely ridiculous and throws Akers off of his game.

Not if the Eagles have anything to say about it! With their homefield advantage throughout. LOL It'll be a good playoffs. That's for sure.

Final Fantasy X was probably my favorite game ever as I loved every aspect of it. Even blitzball got addicting if you gave it a chance. I've had absolutely no desire to buy this game though.

PM either disk or Gandalf. Regular TGA members are not allowed to give it out, Tantanoid doesn't come to the boards too often and probably doesn't remember the password and Rug and SS have been away for a while and I forget when they're getting back.

The Great Alliance / The Great City / Your biggest attack!!
|
on: December 28, 2003, 03:34:34 AM

Someone got caught in the midst of farming. Ouch for this guy. Before this my biggest attack was a little over a million and I've never seen this farm of mine before with more than 1.3 million. Check this out: You devestated the enemy! As ********'s army runs from the battlefield you examine the collected spoils: You stole 3,418,764 gold from ********! You return to camp, your troops elated from your glorious victory.

I really like what you said about Jackson making the best movie he possibly could without worrying about paying tribute to the books. I loved the movie. I'll never read the books. I couldn't care any less if the movie was inaccurate to the books. And I hate when people say stuff like "Oh, the books were so much better than the movie," when they know you haven't read the books, just so they can feel superior. IT'S NOT MY FAULT I CAN'T READ IF NOBODY EVER TAUGHT ME! The movie...is always better than the book.

The Great Alliance / The Great City / Memories.....................

I remember back when I had absolutely no idea how to play KoC. I absolutely forget what I was doing, but one day I hit a link on some random webpage and before I knew it I was signed up as an officer to "mikewarren." I played for a little bit, not attacking, not clicking, just buying weapons with the little turn gold I got from my few soldiers gained through unit production. I eventually decided that I wanted to be a lone ranger so I reset my account with no commander. I found my way to the KoC Forums and eventually ended up joining NEA (no longer existing) and TGA. Those people taught me everything I know and now I'm ranked in the 400's (soon to be 300's) after not even playing this entire age.
