I like the Halloween episodes a lot because the costumes are usually pretty funny.  E-mails are probably the best part of the site though.  Coolest character award goes to The Cheat.  I have a T-shirt of The Cheat and a static-clingy The Cheat on the window of my car.

Not a Monday morning QB...more like a would-be conservative coach.  Why give away free points?  Granted: if the Panthers had converted the 2 pt. attempts, it would have been huge, but you have to assume the worst and worry about the hole you put yourself into if you fail.  As I said, don't go for two unless the game is coming to a close.  That's not necessarily directly towards the Panthers, just a general rule that a non-dumbass coach would follow.

*COUGH COUGH*
Okay, back to Daredevil.  Take you spam to that sacred temple of yours.  I find it hard to believe that you guys don't think Jennifer Garner is hot.  Oh well.  I haven't seen the movie yet and the reviews I've heard on it are similar to what you guys are saying.  So I likely never will see it.

Of course you do too, buddy.  Everyone does.  But when you make a statement like "I is el master" or whatever it was you have to expect some kind of retaliation.  LOL

I use a sweet Nightcrawler skin for Winamp that I got off a site called Blue-Elf.com.  It's for an earlier version of Winamp that I intentionally haven't upgraded for the sole purpose of using that skin.

I don't like the rule that the MVP has to be from the winning team.  I thought Jake Delhomme played a better game than Brady.  Even though Jake started the game with a terrible completion percentage he really picked it up in the end.  As much as Kasay looks like the asshole for kicking the ball out of bounds, the coach called for the squib kick.  I hate squib kicks with a passion.  I blame the loss on Carolina's coach for being a dumbass.  NEVER GO FOR TWO WITH SO MUCH TIME LEFT!  If he had just taken the extra point twice, New England wouldn't have gone for two and converted meaning Carolina would have two extra points and New England would have one less.  Guess what?  The game's only TIED after Vinatieri's field goal.  In my opinion you never pass up a chance at free points unless you only plan on getting one more possession after the score...you never know what can happen throughout the course of the entire fourth quarter.  Do I make a good point?

I have a solution...just use Winamp  LOL   My computer came with WMP installed but I ended up downloading Winamp anyway.  Now that I have both it seems like the sound quality on Winamp is much better.

Are you running with no texture packs? (Compat mode... Should run fine on a bottom-spec PC with min graphics and no texture pack...)
Yeah it would probably run fine.  I'm just making excuses for myself because I really want to play and just can't find the time to.  LOL

What graphics card do you have. #1 Source of lag on NWN is a Card that isnt a GeForce. This problem can be solved with cracked drivers if you're using an ATi Radeon (Like myself), but I'd have to find them for you again.
No I do have a Geforce...just a very old one as my computer as a whole is 4 years old.  All my graphic settings are as low as they go and sound is already disabled entirely.  With all that it runs well enough I guess.  I'll probably end up just sticking with single player for now.  Multiple PCs might blow my computer up.
13  BPSITE / Games and Gaming / Neverwinter on: February 01, 2004, 10:02:44 PM
I would like to do that since I've never tried multiplayer on NWN before.  The only problems are that timing may be difficult because of the timezone differences and the fact that I've been pretty busy lately.  Also, my computer is pretty slow and I don't know how well it would handle multiplayer.  When I play single player sometimes there's even lag when I have the sound disabled.  I'm likely getting a new computer before college and I'll have a lot more free time in the summer, so if we can't work anything out with me now we can try again in July.

Oh well that really narrows it down.  I guess I'll get out there and start looking tomorrow.

Note: it's a pain in the ass when the PCs know the DMG just as well as they know the PHB. The players talk back to the DM, 'but in the DMG it says..' or 'but my character already knows..' (which no, he shouldn't know...) it's so much easier for the DM when people don't meta-play!
I don't have a DMG but knowing the PHB pretty well allows me to correct our DM pretty often since he was such a dumbass.  Just on dumb things like attacks of opportunity and some combat rules.

Playing an evil character can be very tough, if for no other reason just because it usually cuts your quests and subplots short.  When you tell an NPC to "Fuck off!  I don't wanna hear your bitching!" it gets kinda hard to have them offer you a job.  If you play an evil character you would have to play him so that he's nice to people up front, but he has evil, concealed motives.  The other thing you can do which I enjoyed A LOT is to download a module specifically made for an evil character.  I recently played and finished a three part series called the Rogues of Quinn designed for a Lawful Evil Rogue.  It was an insane amount of fun and I couldn't pull myself away from it.  I would say it took more than 20 hours to complete.  I highly recommend it.  It took my character from 1-12th level and had a good storyline.

P.S.  Class specific modules usually turn out to be the coolest since you get personalized equipment and the module really utilizes your skills and combat techniques to the fullest.  So far I've played the Twilight series (Paladin), Kale's Rangers, and Rogues of Quinn.
