That would be both good - because Martin is twice the author Jordan ever was - and bad - because it will put the next ASOIAF book back.

There's some rotten books in there, but I agree that it deserves an ending. It's pretty much his life's work.

The Vision Bleak - The Vault of Nephren-Ka
In a valley of no sound, Buried under desert ground, Enclosed by night without one star, Lies the Vault of Nephren-Ka,
It calls... and calls...
Where isolation dies alone, An ancient deathlessness does throne, Shun by the light of Amun-Ra, That is the Vault of Nephren Ka,
This nether-netherworld is crowned, By rotten sorcery abound, Where on old bones the ghoul-fiends gnaw, In the Vault of Nephren-Ka,
It calls... and calls...
And the unsound fingers still, Grasp a crystal by it's will, Bedded on an ill altar, The remains of Nephren-Ka,
Where isolation dies alone, (It calls...) An ancient deathlessness does throne, Shun by the light of Amun-Ra, (... and calls...) That is the Vault of Nephren-Ka.

Martriden - Blank Eye Stare
I've seen the blank eye stare, Of a girl trapped inside, The unthinkable waits, For she is not alone,
The abysmal soul's obstruction, Becomes clear in my line of sight, This is beyond me, Not even death will free this life,
Too far has it come, Tearing free of it's bonds, The hope bleeds away, For this girl is lost,
It grasp has taken hold, Of not just one soul, For my fate is sealed, Just as the untold one,
Not if death will take me first...
Soul's obstruction, Becomes clear in my line of sight, This is beyond me, Not even death will free this life, Tearing free of it's bonds, The hope bleeds away, For this girl is lost.

thats what happens when you write the end before the middle and beggining Never, ever do this. If you do, go back and rewrite it when you're done, because it will inevitably suck.

Marduk - Accuser/Opposer
Accuser! Accuser! Exhaustless fountain of poison divine, I ate of death to cleanse my flesh of God, To make me thy entrance to the veins of the world,
Now as we turn to seek thy face, Pour doom on us, Thy redeeming wrath,
For you will ascend into heaven, And will exalt thy throne above God, And you will sit also upon the Mount of the Congregation, In the sides of the north,
And thou will ascend above the heights of the clouds! And will be like the most high, Yet where thou brought down to the sides of the pit! Which we now must merge with the skies,
Opposer! Opposer! Core, marrow and essence of my will, I renounce this flesh in the name of thy praise! To kindle the coals of salvations spring, I drank of hell to cleanse my soul of God, To reach the light in which thou dwellst,
Adversary! Adversary! Glorious slanderer and every thing's adversary, Whose blade alone split the tongues of the world, Yet shall the highest of truths mark thy crown,
Now as we turn to see thy face, Pour doom on us, Thy redeeming wrath.

Naglfar - Mirrors Of My Soul
I was alone, blinded, unaware, Then their voices came near, now inside my mind they’re always there, Telling me what to say and do, Guiding my path, carrying me through,
Now my words cut like blades of anger, Gospels of the night, sung under the northern light, The thing that once was me is no more human inside, I am lost, I am dead yet alive,
My eyes they mirror my soul, Black, empty, senseless and cold, I’ve lost the lust for life (Leave me alone), I will exit this existence (I am going home),
For me there’s no tomorrow, for me there’s no today, My work is done, I will walk away,
Deeper into darkness, deeper I fell, When I close my eyes I see myself burn in hell, Anointed in blood, crowned by the damned, The tongue of doom, forever I am,
I am a demon, an angel, the voice of the insane, Messenger of light and bringer of pain, When my inner voice command I obey, It controls me, like a master, his slave,
My eyes they mirror my soul, Black, empty, senseless and cold, I’ve lost the lust for life (Leave me alone), I will exit this existence (I am going home),
For me there’s no tomorrow, for me there’s no today, My work is done, I will walk away.

Borknagar - The Winterway
Awakened by the hands of Autumn The hands which made me sleep Was a shadow vague yet deep
A creature, spine of the essence Drifting in the wind, clad as Sin The force behind my cause The hands that fold me within
Awakened beneath a restless sky By mountains which darken the day Shadows, spiritual dust of my fathers - The heart and soul of my way -
A creature, spine of the essence Drifting in the wind, clad as Sin The force behind my cause Grim token of the path within
The Winterway Leads us through the coldest night The Winterway To be walked by all men of might
Behold the ice on the big seas The summits and the naked trees Ashore the bay through the rough Winterway

Fight scenes are immense, great story, rather odd though. Definatly worth a watch. It's the story as told from the point of view of Dilios - he embellishes. (Dilios is actually a composite of two real people, as well - 2 Spartans survived Thermopylae, according to Herodotus). Living with someone who does ancient history makes it a better film, I think...
