1  The Great Alliance / The Great City / For the leader of this alliance league of nations on: December 30, 2003, 11:26:35 PM
Here's the link to their GUA thread.

And a link to their board.

Wasn't the real League of Nations a complete and utter failure. . .?
2  The Great Alliance / The Great City / Memories..................... on: December 30, 2003, 11:12:50 PM
In this age, I remember being ranked 13000 or so. . . then I dropped back down to 30000 due to sabotaging.  ¬_¬  After that, my money went straight to training spies and increasing their levels.  After that, it was a breeze to spy on people.  Now it's not even worth it to spy, since I usually lose a spy in the process.  I just do test attacks now.

In Age 1, I remember whe you could by the spy levels in bulk.  Much easier that way.    Oh, and I remember that this Orc and I would exchange attacks and take about 500K off of eachother with only 2 attack turns.  It was great stuff.

Wow, a lot of you guys are younger than I expected.

I don't have much to say; my real name's Karin and I'm Chinese-American (although I'm much better at speaking english than Chinese).  I live in Sacramento, CA, and I'm 15, a sophomore in high school.  I have a huge love for Phantom of the Opera (books, musical, and otherwise), perhaps to the point of obsession.  My favorite bands are Weezer and Jimmy Eat World, although the Brian Setzer Orchestra and Nat King Cole songs are often in/on my CD player or my playlist.  My favorite books are Phantom by Susan Kay and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (trilogy/series) by Douglas Adams.  I like what anime I've seen, and I've taken to reading manga online.  My favorite anime is Trigun, while my favorite manga is Rurouni Kenshin.  I've got a special place in my heart for the Card Captor Sakura manga, though.

A friend of mine got me into KoC back in Age 1.  It's a pretty simple game, but I got amazingly addicted to it.  He lost interest after a while, and now he's gotten me into a game called Gunbound, where my screen name is the exact same as my KoC and board name.

Um. . . I guess that's it.  I'm a generally unexciting person.
4  The Great Alliance / The Great City / What's your motive on: November 30, 2003, 07:05:52 AM
I was under the impression we would be getting free ice cream for enlisting.

I never did get that ice cream.  =(

(I checked "Just for the hell of it," in case you wanted to know.)

:miffed:  i cant read any book twice its never the same
Actually, neither can I, but it's mostly an issue of patience than anything - and when I do read a book twice, I most likely catch something that I didn't see before).  I read To Kill a Mockingbird last year, but I had to read it again for my summer work.  If it weren't for that, I probably wouldn't have re-read it at all.

Now that I have re-read it, though, I wouldn't be surprised if I did so again.  ^^;;;

(And I'm now currently between books - I finished To Kill a Mockingbird yesterday, and need to find a new book; I think I'll be reading The Inferno by Dante.)

I'm re-reading To Kill a Mockingbird - the first time I read it, I loved it; now that I'm reading it again, I remembered why I loved it so much the first time.  =D
