BPSITE / Arts & Literature / Best/Fave 5 Movies Viewed In The Past 5 Months
|

Ok, mine, in no particular order (they can be old movies, so long as you've seen them recently): The Rocky Horror Picture Show LOL The Majestic (watching it for the first time as I type, and I'm totally adoring it!!) Cruel Intentions Dogma The Rules Of Attraction Ok, now yours! I love to read about the artistic tastes of others, and I have a feeling this will be a mixed bunch! And, please, don't list your absolute faves UNLESS you have seen them in the past 5 months. Doing this at least cuts down the fave list for me Jez

BPSITE / Arts & Literature / What would you Matrix-Name be?
|
on: June 21, 2003, 10:08:45 AM

Hmm.... Perhaps DivaX? Cos my nickname is Diva, but that seems wrong, seeing as how it's been so exploited by the teeny bopper market  So whacking an X on the end makes it a bit more Matrix-y. I was wondering whether it should be pronounced Diva-ex, but that sounds like ex-Diva and that's bad, so the pronounciation is phonetically deevacks. Jez (hmm, guess I could have just been Jez...) <_<

Ooh, I like... Not stuff to make me laugh out loud, it takes a lot to do that, but enough humour to give me that "inner glowy warmth". And the cat one is just gold - even made me grin. Now to download all of these and thrust them upon everyone on file sharing Direct Connect at Monash University LOL Jezwyn

BPSITE / Arts & Literature / Currently I am reading
|

Hanging out for HP5, after I read all 4 in a week in Dec 2001.
Currently reading crap for Uni - "Endgame" by Samuel Beckett is on the top of the priority list, cos I have an exam on it next Wednesday, and haven't even finished reading it yet... If anyone's ever read it, it's really difficult to make sense of, and the class I'm taking is all about "how we make meaning of texts" - yay. After that I'll probably re-read 1984, also for the exam, then the assigned Kafka stories, and then Ibsen's "Ghosts". For leisure I have a stack of entertainment industry-related books I've purchased at markets etc, but haven't have a chance to read yet. And I probably won't get a chance to -I'll have to get into my texts for next semester first - all I know of at the time is that I have to read Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", so I've bought a copy of that, I'm all set.
