I just try to fly under the radar and keep myself from being a tempting target. As soon as I know what I want to buy, I'll use mass amounts of attack turns to get enough money and then spend it right away. Nobody wants to attack me if I have 2,000 gold. The only loss I've suffered so far was a loss of 12,000 in 15 turns to some guy who obviously couldn't find a better target. :sheep: SHEEP!

You need to spend 512k on knives to have enough to equal 1 2560 item. You can better keep yourself under the radar that way. The return on all items is 70% unless it's damaged, so don't use 'em.

As long as you don't attack, the weapons will stay in your arm0ry, and you can sell em later to upgrade your spy level. Keep doin that till you have a high enough ca to defend.

Now the most depressing losses are those that get away, Ooh I wish I could have gotten the big bank... Again, thankfully I've not suffered the sabotage some of you have. :P

Came home after class and looked and saw that I had somewhere in the 180,000 range, and I went to buy a dragonskin, and it told me I didn't have enough. I checked my attack log and someone had just hit me 10 seconds ago for 160,000 gold. Pissed me off something fierce, and that's when I sold all my attack weapons and spent it all on covert so I could sab the guy. So far I sabbed at least 20 of his dragonskins, but it's slow going sending 10 spies to destroy 1 dragonskin. If I try to up the ante and send 20 spies to destroy 2 dragonskins they get caught. That's why I wondered if there was a tried and true method of knowing how many spies to send for which and how many weapons. If anyone could help me out here instead of referring me to the Fortress, to which I don't yet have access, I'd greatly appreciate it.

In total I'd say we're even, when he stopped hitting me I stopped hitting him. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that. I don't sab people out of hand like that unless I have to, and in this instance I felt justified because there was no way for me to attack him to retaliate, so I thought I'd try sabbing. My question was on the basis of if this happens again in the future and I need to mass sab because someone is doing something to justify a mass sab, then how would I go about doing it without losing too many spies in the process? I don't want to know so I can just go do it, I want to know in case I have to do it someday. I won't abuse it if that's the worry.

He kept it up in return so it was just back and forth for a while, and in total I got that many of his weapons.

Title: most depressing loss Post by: BloodRaider on October 16, 2003, 10:08:37 AM i lost around 50 skins/flaming arrows to sabb and then they took my last 200k (I was banking it all for that all important spy upgrade to 9). Then this guy's 5 officers started farming me every day taking my TBG. All because one of his guys was attacked by me ONCE and i stole 150k from him. I believe his msg was somewhere along the lines of, "you attack one of my officers fine, then i'll sabb you and have all my officers farm you until you quit! LOL and you were pretty close to immunity too dumbass!" That was it almost word for word and they farmed me for a week before i decided to delete and start over... Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
