Yes, now I can finally rant about anime. Well Asura, what should we start on? Because I'm at a lack of discussion right now, or... topicy... discussion. Things.

Hn, Gravi. I need the next OVA of it, which I can't seem to find on KaZaA. You have it, right? Well, I dunno. But I can't rant much about Gravi, since I don't know much about it.


And sadly, I haven't seen those animes yet. I suck, no?

You must read the manga or watch the anime of X...I've just read 1-9 and I've seen the OVA. Shamanic Princess is a fruity anime that may be confusing. I haven't watched it in a while, and it was the dubbed. *HISS* But I might be able to steal it from Hi-chan, for she has the DVDs... Graham and Japolo are fun. Both of them be my favorite characters...And that anime is where I got the word 'quivel' from.

Quivel is a fun word indeed.

Uhm...The main character, Tiara, has to have a 'partner' for...Uh. *Shrugs* Graham was her first one, but then she got Japolo. And she was mean to Graham. ;.; Graham is a...Thing. And he has a claw. Japolo is a ferret-ish-thing. ...Deh kawaii-ness of it all... (Nyyy...The CD that I had put Shamanic Princess pictures on is broken, I think. It won't work in my DVD player anymore...I wonder if I could get it resurfaced at Gamers...)

Hey cool, an anime thread. Sorry if I'm breaking the Asura and Filran posts, but  I've never seen any of those animes you said, I've seen animes such as Prince of Tennis, Kenshin - Wandering Swordsman, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Initial D, Dear Boys, and others that I quite can't remember of right now. Any good anime suggestions? Basically, I'm waiting for the start of college so I can connect into their gateways and download all my stuff really fast. Well, that's all I have on my mind right now, laters until next time.  :D   LOL  

Harhar. I've seen Gundam Wing. I've wanted to see Gundam Seed, ever since I had read about it in Newtype... Which reminds me of...Onegai Teacher...I need to read deh third one...

Cool...yeah, Gundam Seed is a neat anime to watch, I've only been able to get eps. 1 - 30ish or so. Eager to download the rest to see what happens in the end.

o_o I'm never able to download stuffish...I was only able to get about 6 eppies of Gravi and two or three of Yami no Matsuei...And about six minutes of DNAngel.

Yeah. I've been waiting about a week for a single ep of Wolf Rain to download so I can see what its like. Sadness, its still not downloading.

Gravi and Yami no Matsuei are shounen-ai anime...^^' I suck at describing things, but Gravi is pretty much about a band...And Yami no Matsuei is...Er...Not quite sure... But I love the music that they have...*Cackle* And I wanna see Wolf's Rain. I've read about that in NewType, too.

ok, its cool.....I guess I'll just have to go download a couple eps. of those animes and check them out for myself.  :D  Ohhhh......another neat anime that i've seen before is Flame of Recca - about this kid who was born as a ninja, but is sent to the future to keep from getting killed, and he has to learn to control his flame-dragon swords.  :)  

n.n That sounds fun. It makes me think of Chrono Cross, somehow, though. Right now I'm trying to watch the rest of Yami no Matsuei and Gravi...And then I wanna get the manga of Gravi, as well as the rest of Love Hina...And then I need deh anime and manga of X...>.>' But my friend got back from Texas...And Mexico...And she bought alot of anime/manga. Not much. In NewType I think it said something about people who turn into wolves, or the other way around? I dun remember much, 'cause I haven't read it. Surry...n.n

Asura, I've actually seen Chobits too and I thought it was a nice little anime (just didn't want to say anything at first cause I don't think a guy like me would seriously watch an anime type like that).

Also Filran, I've sorta heard of Wolf's Rain but never seen it at all. Care to give some details about it?  :)  

Nnn...I've just read the first book. My friend, Jennifer, wouldn't let me read the second. But her sister (Who be a good friend of mine. Mwah.) got the anime, and is gonna let me borrow it. Along with Little Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar (I think that's it...)...<.< Chobits is wrong...at times, I guess. But it's by CLAMP. And CLAMP is God. Therefore it's wonderful. And I think Sara from the library is gonna ask Mrs. B to order some Chobits...

By the way, I was referring to Chobits.

I got my anime eppies offa there...I hate WinMX, though, 'cause it took a LONG time. (I normally use the computer for 2-8 hours a day...Sometimes...And it took weeks for one episode to finish.)

Yeah. Its short though. I entertain myself by sticking it in japanese, subtitled, watching it, then watching it in english with subtitles to see all the diffrences in dialog.

ha.....Trigun is on at night, I think either 12, 12:30, or 1.....don't remember, but I saw it last night on Cartoon Network's adult swim  :D   LOL

Yeah, I agree. American voices suck. And they ALWAYS use the same people. I can just watch an anime, and all of a sudden, *click* THATS THE VOICE OF SPIKE FROM COWBOY BEBOP! Thus, everything is ruined, because all I think of is Spike...

blue sub #6  :D  great series. its sort of a partitioned film (theres a film too) theres only 4 parts, good story. gd characs, nice machines and creatures only let down is the music but i can put up with that

I like Trigun...Though I've never watched it, as dubbed anime is SATAN. But I also like Love Hina...I have the first ta fourth manga, though I always lend them to friends. I've wanted ta watch RahXephon, if I remember correctly...>.> Gravitation is my favorite anime, as I am a shounen-ai-obsessed-person-like-thing (And I dun care what anyone says about it.). Digi Charat is fun...I've seen deh 1-16 TV series (The ones that're about 3-4 minutes each...), the summer series-ish, and the movie. Which is scary. And I've played a ROM of the game, though it was in Japanese. Little Snow Fairy Sugar reminds me of Digi Charat somehow, although it has more of a plot. And it's sad at times, as well. Mwee... CLAMP is my favorite manga-group-manga-ka-lypeoples... Nnn...I have Love Hina, as I said, Magic Knight Rayearth 2 and 5 (I've read the whole series, though), Gundam Wing 1 and 2, RealBout High School 1, X/1999 10 (I've read everything up to that.) for manga...Magic Knight Rayearth 1 and 2, Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf, and four Dragon Ball Z video thingehs...Deh full Gravitation TV series, X 1, and Kare Kano 2 for DVDs...I've seen/read alot more then I have, though. The subtitling on Gravi is fun. Because it's horrible. And makes no sense at all...Wheeee.

RK has only gotten on my nerves because thats all everyone on MD talks about, and all that little annoying girl that thinks I am god talks about. Its annoyed the hell out of me. So basicly, based on how dubs bother me, because they ALWAYS use the same voice actors, and I could keep pointing out the voice of Spike from Cowboy Bebop, I refused to watch undubbed, and refused to buy DVD, because then my friend would attack me, and make me watch it more than I want to.
Same thing with my Trigun DVDs. Luckily, I got them before they started showing it on Cartoon Network. Oh, how I hate cartoon network. They edited out 'chicken-shit' from Trigun in one line, and they were showing it at 1 or 2 in the morning. Really.
Anyway, I'm still trying to get a hold of Wolf's Rain, which, I think I'm close to. Lucky me.

Same here, they were showing Wolf's Rain at a local convention (yay for the fanime con).  I don't like sub, and the sub titling is more often then not crap when a company does it.  I always go for the good fan subs, like AnimeKeep and such. But you can only get unlicensed stuff from them.  Legal stuff and all.  :P  

I love subs. As long as they go with the looks of the pictyuuuuures then they're alright. :P Dubbing is what bugs me. x.x They always use the same people goddamnit.





And don't you hate it when you start watching a subbed anime that isn't over where you are, then suddenly its here, and everyone is watching it and being all just annoying about it? And how the only way to not get an episode told to you is to flat out and out say: shut up? Or when they go: Oh, your watching that? I bet your just watching that to be cool cause everyone else was talking about it and you didn't know what it was?

Digi Charat is fun. o_o The art in that is so much like Little Snow Fairy Sugar...Except the subtitles are better in Little Snow Fair Sugar...I think I saw a manga for Sorcerer Hunters at Borders. It was that or something else. n.n I wanna watch that. Or read it.

One to watch is LastEXILE if you liked Skies of Arcadia (the game) similar worlds. It would be great to live in the skies  LOL  

Final Fantasy Unlimited is fun...I love the ending theme. ^.^ After watching the ending theme multiple times, I could only draw chocobos for two days...Kaze is fun. We like Kaze...

But it gets boring, that series could have been better if they did over use that gun and anyways the cactuars are better than the chocobos  :D  

Nah. Chocobos are better for non-EXP purposeses, making them 10x bettah.

They should show more on Sky in the UK, only got Toonami a couple of months ago, good stuff was Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw star but stopped showing it. Currently showing DB/DBZ/DBGT and Teen something force? Wish they had something like Adult Swim in the US lucky people.

I only buy the anime movies, the series DVDs are overpriced £20 for 3 episodes, when you can get the whole series of "24" for £40 its stupid. We should get decent price boxsets  <_<

Bwahahaha...I like buying deh Japanese DVDs, since most of the time if the series is short enough you'll get the whole thing...Deh DNAngel DVDs have four episodes each, and they're $10...And I got the entire Yami no Matsuei series (Which is 13 episodes) for $23, whereas if you buy the American-licensed-thing (Which is four DVDs with 3 eppies a disc, except for the first which has four...), it's $120 if you buy it seperately, or $100 if you by deh box-set-thing. >.>... Anywho...

If someone doesnt mind answering an Eva question for me (Dont read unless youve watched most of the series)

I originally thought it was because the components that keep them subdued and under Nerv control required power to run, which does fit with the Eva's being out of control when the activate without a power source (IE; when they go beserk). It doesnt, however, fit with all the Angels needing power (Im assuming they all have an S^2 engine, and not just Zeruel, here).
