Why? Because, while I'm not on it at the moment, I am currently drooling at my Birthday present... Thats right folks, Auron's got a brand new Laptop. And it kicks ass. Woo... lets have a look... 3gHz Pentium 4 processor... 512mg Memory... 64mg Radeon 9000 video card (not integrated... very nice) and the now fairly standard DVD writer, ethernet adaptors, FireWire ports etc... Overall, I'm damned happy... Once the thing is set up, I'll get my NW Duelling arenas done, move all my FoN and NWDune stuff across and get cracking :) [/Excitement] Title: Auron's Birthday comes early... 1, Hard Drive. My Laptop has 40gb... amazing compared to what I've been used to, put 1/4 of what you vae. 2, Monitor. Its a pretty big one for a Laptop, but still nothing to write home about. The Yiff pictures are saved onto digital media, which is unlikely to break down within the next 5 years. Write them all to DVD just in case. When a new form of information storage comes along, which replace or surpasses standard Hard Drive's and DVD, simply copy the files across to it. When THAT is surpasses... repeat the process.
