Title: Upgrading Post by: Rug on June 26, 2003, 10:53:13 AM I would buy a new PC - Get Windows XP on it, brand new (Though not necessarily top of the range) Processor... a Good 1.2 gig P4 Computer can be scooped for ~£500, maybe cheaper. Look around for good deals.
Fact of the matter is, if you plan to upgrade a 300 processor, you'll have major problems (Similar to my 433 Celeron PC, which resides in my room) - You will have to replace Motherboard, Power pack, Processor... nearly the whole damn PC, and it will come out more expensive than just buying a new one.
