don't you hate it when you run out of cereal with a lot of milk left.

or when you pour the cereal and go to get some milk only to realize that you have none.

its awful! :but:

If a vegetarian camps in a forest, and doesn't eat, is he still a vegetarian?

He's more than that - he's a hungry vegetarian who either hasn't heard of (or simply doesn't have) portable vegetarian camping foods.

I am a pseudo-veggie. But that's not really relevant - any greasy food at breakfast is wrong, even if it's cheese on toast or chips or whatever.

what the hell is a pseudo vegie?

Title: Great gifts for your love

I kinda resemble one, but I'm not really.

I prefer not to eat most meat, and will generally avoid it. But if a dead animal gets placed in front of me I will try to eat it; it would be disrespectful not to.
And I don't get stupid/preachy about it - people should simply follow whatever their natural appetite is, whether that includes or excludes animals.
And I eat Quorn. (but only the smokey ham flavour ones)

:)

Some burgers are ok, but some have strange grisly bits in them.  <_<

That's one of the main reasons I dislike meat: there's potential for strange fatty or bony bits that shouldn't be there.

(manners - unless you have a string of stately homes which are in need of repairs)[/size]

Ask them if they eat eggs.

If they say yes, you can then proceed to reprimand them for murdering unborn chickens. :)

Hah - Mole's a baron!   :D

Ahem.  Eggs aren't fertilised, SS.  Chickens lay them regardless of a cockerel's presence.

Title: Great gifts for your love
Post by: SS on November 05, 2006, 08:56:21 PM
Only because the cockeral is on his way to become part of a drumstick.

And an unfertilised egg is still half of what might someday maybe turn into a little chick.

:P

Title: Great gifts for your love
Post by: smi256 on November 05, 2006, 09:47:18 PM
once the unfertilised egg is out, it's a done deal, no baby chick ;)

Title: Great gifts for your love
Post by: Hornet on November 05, 2006, 10:14:58 PM

Very true - they're chickens, not trout.  By SS's argument, one could say that women are committing murder each month by not becoming pregnant.

Title: Great gifts for your love
Post by: Louise on November 05, 2006, 11:02:48 PM
Furthering Hornet's argument, men would be committing murder even when the woman they're with becomes pregnant, as they're putting out more sperm than can hope to get an egg to fertilise.

the last time i checked, it only takes one sperm ;)

Mole is the most murderous of all, yiffing and all :miffed:

smi, that's the point - all the other sperms die, adding to the murderousness!

more of the all

they do eat eggs but with the same arguement. As it wasnt their moral decision to not eat meat it was just passed on from their parents i let them off very lightly, but i dont miss an oppertunity
