Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 14, 2006, 11:28:53 AM strangely this just came up on another forum yesturday. what/where is it?
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 14, 2006, 02:14:14 PM *slaps Mole with Google* Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 14, 2006, 02:52:17 PM *slaps mole with a small fish*
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 14, 2006, 05:27:00 PM *stabs hornet with louise then throws them out the window*
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 14, 2006, 06:25:33 PM *scoffs some chocolate*
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 14, 2006, 07:25:44 PM ive got one cookie left then its no chocolate or fast food for a week
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 14, 2006, 08:02:46 PM *wonders at the philosohical, social and phallic implications of being used to stab Hornet*
 *steals mole's cookie and munches it thoughtfully* Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 14, 2006, 08:10:50 PM Quote ive got one cookie left then its no chocolate or fast food for a week Why?Quote *wonders at the philosohical, social and phallic implications of being used to stab Hornet* Philosophical? Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 14, 2006, 08:13:17 PM firstly i cant afford to keep eating pizza and secondly its doing me no favours, its not helping with the whole fitness thing
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 14, 2006, 08:21:51 PM Fast food I can understand. (Wouldn't mind a nice pizza right now though)
But chocolate is good for you! Well, it's tasty at least. Cadbury's stuff is. *eats more Dairy Milk* :hehe: Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 15, 2006, 12:43:39 AM Quote Quote *wonders at the philosohical, social and phallic implications of being used to stab Hornet* Philosophical? And dark chocolate is better for you, due to higher cocoa content. :P Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 15, 2006, 12:58:40 AM Quote Were you questioning the word choice, or the spelling? Both. Though initially just the word choice, then after I typed it myself I noticed your missing letter and inwardly smirked at the irony of you having a mistake in a post directed at mole. ;)Dark chocolate doesn't taste as nice. Or was that plain chocolate? I'm never sure which one is the yucky one and which one is okay. Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 15, 2006, 01:18:54 AM Dark chocolate *is* plain chocolate. Personally, I love the Lindt Cherry chocolate. I haven't been able to find a retailer for years though; it's a very rare commodity. :( Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 15, 2006, 03:00:33 AM that choc is only good on digestives and after eights, doesnt shocolate provide a mild relief but in the long run causes some kind of depression?
if choc doesnt matter then i wont have any guilt eating the jaffa cakes someone has just left on my bed  Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 15, 2006, 12:48:34 PM Quote Dark chocolate *is* plain chocolate. That's probably why I have so much trouble remembering. :S Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 15, 2006, 04:03:53 PM dark chocolate will survive in the fridge, put dairy milk in there and its ruined
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 15, 2006, 05:38:25 PM I've kept some Dairy Milk (with Caramel) in the freezer compartment for a few days with no problem?
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 15, 2006, 09:03:22 PM there is the problem of it looses its taste
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 15, 2006, 09:31:08 PM Meh. My taste buds are not the best in the world, and my memory seems to be getting worse every day, so I have no idea if I noticed if it had lost its taste or not.
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 15, 2006, 11:15:55 PM Quote ... my memory seems to be getting worse every day ... Mine seems to be doing a similar thing; as a result, I'm not always completely sure of the small details of events, as I keep questioning myself and worrying over whether they're right or not.I suspect it's an aging thing - both in that cells are dying off, and that there's more and more to remember every day. *feels worryingly mortal* Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 15, 2006, 11:52:09 PM Yeah but neither of us are even half-way towards the zone when aging tends to start. :(
I'm more worried than it is an insanity thing myself - we're being driven crazy by the madness all around us. It'll only be so long before they come and try to lock us away in a white padded cell. :paranoid: Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 16, 2006, 12:26:51 AM True. But we have twice as much to remember as when we were ten / twelve - more so, due to more advanced education and a heightened ability to percieve, and a far greater immersion in, the world around us. You can only put so much water into a sponge before some starts dripping out again. It's also possible that when younger, people don't care as much about the details as when they're older. And obviously, once you're aware that your memory isn't up to scratch, you'll then tend to question it more than you did before, thus finding errors that weren't initially noticed. Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 16, 2006, 09:21:23 AM twice as much? thats mad, i cant imagine how many times more things ive had pumped into me since then
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 16, 2006, 03:33:11 PM I realise that, hence the 'more so...' part of the sentence. :P Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 16, 2006, 10:04:50 PM Are you calling me a water-logged sponge?
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 16, 2006, 10:10:08 PM Mmmm, sponge.
(http://193.201.200.191/gfy/images/f-victoriasponge.jpg) Preferably not water-logged, though. Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 16, 2006, 10:33:58 PM Yay, someone other than SS and Mole! *dive-hugs Louise* :hehe: And no, SS, if that was the case I'd have added the 'German' premodifier. :P Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 16, 2006, 11:13:48 PM Eep! He's after my Victoria Sponge!
*hides the cake* Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 17, 2006, 01:10:37 AM pfft call that a sponge? you should see my cakes, theyre fit for a king, hence why i eat them
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 17, 2006, 01:33:12 AM (http://www.chocolateheaven.co.uk/images/recip-ultimate-chocolate-cake.jpg)
:P Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 17, 2006, 04:07:06 AM *glomps* (http://forums.kyhm.com/images/smiles/emot-glomp.gif) Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Lord Lanair on October 17, 2006, 06:22:18 AM hahahahaha nice
And since when did cake become a thing you wipe the counter with? :P Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 17, 2006, 10:04:22 AM dont like chocolate cake
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 17, 2006, 05:18:47 PM Quote Don't like chocolate cake. That's not the point - you said your cakes are fit for a king, and I provided a fitter one. Meaning I win, and ... uh ... ok, so no 'and'. I still win though.*hides it from Hornet's glomp and Lanair's newfound knowledge of counter wiping* Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 17, 2006, 07:45:52 PM chocolate cake is for peasants, thus you dont win
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 17, 2006, 08:09:17 PM Actually, when chocolate first came out it would have been very expensive, and would only have been bought by the aristocracy. Hence chocolate cake is far more suitable for royalty than it is for peasants. :king:
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: smi256 on October 18, 2006, 07:45:24 AM May I have a bite of your cake Louise? :sheep:
My friend sent me cookies in the mail *does cookie dance* :D Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 18, 2006, 11:18:31 AM then i suggest you stop living in the past
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 18, 2006, 09:27:11 PM But the past is fun, mole. In the future, there might not be any chocolate. :miffed:
And smi, 'course you can. Anyone who can do a cookie dance is worthy of cake. :hehe: Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 18, 2006, 09:36:03 PM that will only becuase ill be ravenous after my 1 week fast.
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 19, 2006, 12:07:17 AM Tha sentence was barely legible.
And, why are you fasting for one week? Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 19, 2006, 12:10:30 AM Pay attention! :P
Quote firstly i cant afford to keep eating pizza and secondly its doing me no favours, its not helping with the whole fitness thing Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Louise on October 19, 2006, 12:36:52 AM A fast will hardly help - if he doesn't die of malnutrition, he could still mess up his digestive system. Better to just have something healthier and cheaper than pizza.
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 19, 2006, 02:26:36 AM <_< fast food and chocolate...i cant go 7 days with out eating anything!
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: Hornet on October 19, 2006, 04:45:33 AM Actually you could, but you'd have to choose your beverages very carefully. I wouldn't recommend it though. Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 19, 2006, 11:30:58 AM no i couldnt, im not talking physically im talking mentally, id eat my shoes or something if i had no food tha long
oh and louise its spelt "thaT" Title: FACEBOOK Post by: matt_the_shark on October 19, 2006, 02:18:59 PM actually it should be a lower case t :D :P
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 19, 2006, 07:31:12 PM careful soup meat
Title: FACEBOOK Post by: SS on October 19, 2006, 10:31:36 PM Quote actually it should be a lower case t Lowercase - no space; since t can't go to a lower case than it already is in. Alternatively, you could have said "lower case T", since then the case can go lower.(If you're going to be pedantic, do it right. :P) Title: FACEBOOK Post by: mole on October 19, 2006, 11:53:48 PM terrible english in the middle there but i get the gist, rinsed sharky
