He probably had to stay at a hospital for a short while.  As it is, he probably isn't feeling too good, with the surgery and all.. :(

i think it was partially malformed so the doctors advised him to have out young when he could recover from it easily.

i think that was kinda the idea but then hed have to squeeze it in or have the glasses molded around it  :o  

or they could make the jar a bit bigger than the kidney so it could fit in :unsure:

if you change the shape of the jar you wont be able to see what's inside very well...if it didn't look malformed before, it'll look malformed being in a jar with weird curves.

So... how'd the operation go (obviously not bad, since you're still alive to talk to us, but otherwise...)?  :D

well the doctor, who's been doing this for some 20 years mind you, said that he was very surprised at all the muscle he had to cut through, which surprises me even...i guess that doesn't have to surprise you guys, but i'm a real thin guy (6'1 1/2" or somewhere around there ;) ) and not exactly very strong...

other than that he thinks the surgery went very well, i only lost a tablespoon and a teaspoon of blood...so thats good

umm..it took about an hour and a half, due to all the muscle and my kidney was rather high up :huh:
but now i'm here, so yes, it had to have gone rather well and it did but i'm on Vicadin! :D ..my friends :alien:
