Title: Someone needs a firm booting Post by: mole on August 28, 2004, 07:59:44 PM THIS (http://www.epost.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=145176&command=displayContent&sourceNode=144906&contentPK=10851119) is the only copy i could find of what was on the front of my local news paper this evening and unfortunatly its a scaled down version.
the front page claims that their monkey lacky went out and brought a samurai sword for £40. and there is a guy holding up what looks like a middle ages islamic scimitar. Then goes on to complain about how 2 people have been attacked with similar swords recently and that they should be banned because they are far too easy to come by un sharpened or with a little extra money you can buy a sharpened sword for a little under £100. to which my response was "FUCK OFF". my parents seemed to quickly notice i was fuming over this contrived toilet filler and i began talking to them about it. the only samurai sword you'll get for around £40 will be as blunt as a duck and made of stainless steel; if you dont knwo then that means when you stab someone only the hilt will come away the blade having snapped off at the force of the thrust. its just complete shite how this country decides that if they think its bad then it gets banned or more tax payer money goes toward things like speed cameras. argh it just gets me so worked up. in all retrospect all a government is, is a mafia with a public front. there no difference, the only reason mafias have a bad name is because they have to work outside the main system to get theyre work done. as proved by bush to a fair effect... im gonna go cool down.
