Title: Adaware Post by: RipperRoo on May 07, 2004, 04:29:40 PM Anyone had problems with Adaware crashing whilst "Quarantining"
The bar freezes half way across, and then all the buttons stop working... :/ Any ideas? Title: Adaware Post by: FragMaster1972 on May 07, 2004, 04:43:15 PM update it. or dont quarantine-just straight up delete the files.
Title: Adaware Post by: RipperRoo on May 07, 2004, 05:28:07 PM I uninstalled, then reinstalled the new build, seems to work fine now.
By the way, am I even using this correctly... You finish the scan, click select all, then next, which quaratines them, then you go to quaratines, and delete it? Title: Adaware Post by: SS on May 07, 2004, 05:35:38 PM Not sure. I just keep clicking next and agreeing to everything unless it's obviously wrong.
Title: Adaware Post by: RipperRoo on May 07, 2004, 05:36:46 PM How can you not know how to use it... Jeez, you call yourself a geek!?
Title: Adaware Post by: SS on May 07, 2004, 05:41:50 PM Blah, simple programs like this are beneath me. :P
Title: Adaware Post by: Hyvry1 on May 07, 2004, 07:46:29 PM I do what SS does.
It will sit there quarantined with a link to it on the main menu, just delete it from there. Title: Adaware Post by: FragMaster1972 on May 07, 2004, 08:19:17 PM once its finished detecting, just hit next.next.ok. no need to go to quarantine, that saves the files but prevents them from spreading. otherwise it just deletes em.
