Hey everyone, allthough I am very new to KOC, I am curious, what is your favourite race and why?
My personal favourite would have to be Humans because of the cash bonus  :D
(And cause I am a real patriot)  :P

that said....
elves used to rule. then the admins screwed them. Therefore, I'd say if you're available to check your account frequently, humans are best. If you can only log on once in awhile, go dwarf.

like frag said, elves got screwed over, but they're good if you want to have a higher rank.  as for humans, if you have a small army, humans are best because of that tbg bonus, but with larger armies, it doesn't work out so well...you become a farm :P .  

Damn, I forgot about the poll option  <_< , but what happened to the elves? how did they get screwed over?

Elves lost their benefit because, without sabotague, spying is of limited use.
There are rumours of it returning in age 3 though, but I'm not so sure... I'll trust nothing other than a post by a KoC admin. :P

hell, i wouldnt even trust that. I'll believe it when I see one of my enemies end up with no weapons.

Oh, that makes alot of sense now, cause when you attack it always says that '0 weapons are sabotaged' but I never understood that since I never saw any sabotage option  :unsure: , but now its all clear :D but I do agree, that they should bring the sabotage option back in to the game, it would add some suspense, would it not?

Er... I hate sabotage, and hope it stays out of the game (I had a bad experience once...) Elves are still the coolest race around, though.  :D  

I think sabotage would be fine if it could only damage weapons, say by 10% per attempt, rather than actually destroying them.

or at least put a limit on how many weapons are destroyed.  in age 2, there were to instances where i had my entire armory destroyed <_<  

I would say that I agree with SS on this one, the idea of just damaging like 10% or even 5% per attempt would be much more reasonable...Because I do understand the feeling someone gets when he looses like 30 excaluburs :angry: But if only damaged like 5%, it will play a role in the battle and at the same time not doom the unfortunate guy for the rest of the age!

Dwarves rock! or at least they used to...  They still are cool, but I liked it better when they had the attack bonus.  I don't like elves just cause I've never been all that into shooting people with bows.  I don't like humans because I'm already one,  WHO ON EARTH WANT"S TO BE AN ORC???!?!?!?!? so that leaves Dwarves, the short dudes with really big axes.

but kinder are naturally kleptomaniacs, hehehe, so you can see where this is going

I like the elves, because in stories humans will sometimes have an ill-desirable attribute of the humans in real life.  This isn’t always true, and it can be to a profound effect if done just right to hit you. But I like having a creature very much like us (the humans) but set aside just enough so that it’s easier to have them with a drastically different social structure and ethics/morals.  Maybe it’s because I read to get away from the troubles on this life; and want to read about different troubles that are tackled with, and hopefully overcome.  :D

because there's a bunch of stubborn people out there who won't accept that humans are the best :D

because i like the fact that i can say my covert action is higher than most people's strike action :rolleyes:

plus, i didn't really pick elves because of the bonus...but because they're cool :)

If you think about life characteristics of the other pplz then humans are mortal, dwarves are short, and we don't even have orcs, but they are barbaric

Dwarves are good with barbecue sauce.  I just can't seem to stomach orc.  It stinks too bad.  You would think they would shower every now and then, but no.  Never had elf, but I heard it taste like dwarf but a little more gamey.

Well technically he is a human...and then like he would be a cannibal...if he ate some humans...so he has no choice.

Cannibalism is out of the question.  Humans are too fat to eat anyhow.  I am for humans, because I am their fearless leader.  Did I say leader, I meant dissapointment.

*sigh* people are so mistaken about dwarves.  We've got very tough hard to chew muscles everywhere, and we're big boned so we're not good eating, but a couch potato 300 pound human?  mmmmmmmm  They're gooood..  not that I've *ahem* ever eaten any *ahmg* and I just heard it from, er...... an Orc!  yep.  an Orc.

yea but dwarves are dirty from digging in the tunnel.  The only thing I give them is that they had orgies w/ Snow White.
