It's a Jungle-based FPS. Wont run very well on a sub-1GHz CPU machine.

I've played it on a D600. Minimum of 2100 is bollocks; it would play fine of a 1200.

on crappy resolution yes

Eh?

Resolution is a graphics card/monitor issue.

The CPU just deals with things that happen - movement, bullets firing, weather effects, etc.

I know but i still think it'll be choppy

Resolution has a lot to do with CPU.

Things that happen are dealt with by the CPU

Smaller Res -> the things happening are smaller

Therefore..... because the things are smaller, the CPU doesnt have to work as hard.. :)

The resolution doesn't affect the size of things happening, it just affects the size/amount of things that you see.

Yeah, for lower resoutions, lower quality models can be used which help speed things up, but I don't think that's a big enough factor to make a 1.2Ghz machine have problems with the game. :P

Does affect the size!
In 800x600 something may be 4 pixels, whereas in 1024x764 it will be something like 5/6..
So :P

That's physical display size. It doesn't affect the size of the virtual object. :P

Hold on.... big doo doo...
The smaller the res, the bigger an object, the more squares of the same colour the dot has to do, meaning it changes less, meaning less energy is used, meaning it finishes quicker...

well, probably serves me right, not buying half the games that i play right now. oh well, if the proper game is like the version i'm playing i'm glad i've saved a few bob.

Well i might go out and buy myself Halo, and Painkiller after extensive playing the pirate versions of thm, i want to have a go on the multiplayer on these games, it should be fun  LOL

I also have an OPTICAL mouse, and the cursor always seems to like to jump to the top left corner every so often while i'm playing. So on my main comp, i'm using a regular ps2 mouse. may the mouse ball never die away.
