Nothing lame like 'cuz we smashed such-and-such clan', but ‘good battles’ is still a reason. OH, and when you started might be nice to know also :D

as a reminder. (post is something if something is wrong or needing to be added)
Age 0 – death to the soldiers
Age 1 – enters the spys with their spying/sabotage, mercenaries, and weapon damage sabotage was age 2, weapon damage wasn't used until age two either
Age 2 – change of race bonuses (that happened in Age 1 didn't it?)
Age 3 Beta – removal of sabotage, (calculation changes)

I think Age0 was best, simply because it was the first one, and people actually played the game and weren't so bothered about stats and crap. Age1 wasn't bad either. Age2 was when it started going downhill.

I'd say age 1.  i wasnt around for age 0  and age one is the best out of  what I've expeirienced

Age 0 hands down.

Even though it’s neat to have new and different options, the whole system has been bogged down I think.  The simple way was fun, though I can see that it would get boring if nothing changed.  I just think it’s bloody tedious for having to logon so much for maintenance of the account (time I don’t have) or even monotonous with respect that you could very easily set up some ‘simple’ program that just does one thing over and over, and thus removing the human aspect of the game.

i started prity early in age 1

age 1 didn't have sabotage that was age 2 that started that

age 1 had the weapon damage thing, but i think it was disabled or something

you forgot about the 5X rule, durning most of age 1 there was a rule that you could only attack some 5X your own size or half of your own size, i think that should be brought back, to help stop the fake , it would mean LS would prity much be unstopable cause no more massing him, but i think the game was funner with it, and you didn't have baby accounts checking your str before the real account came in and kicked the crud out of your def.

I voted Age 2 b/c I wasn't here for the other ages and Age 3 Beta stinks like poo.

not much difference between age 2 and age 3 beta...i vote age1

Well at least sabotage was there.

sabotage sucks.  it's the only thing the elves had and it was only an early game thing  :hmmm:

I started playing in late march last year.(yes, so i am almost a year old! :D) and i say age one was ownage.  Other than the occasional down time (but that's every age, isn't it?) it was how the game was meant to be. :)

Age 0, I started playing it when it started (or one week after that, can't pinpoint it anymore). I just loved the 'x (number of) pitifully soldiers eaten'-messages that came when you attacked someone as an Orc. Also the starting of alliances, everything so new and fresh and juicy and fruity and..

When it ended I was happy to have reached around 100 men..
Age 1 was also nice, Orcs lost their eating of opponents-capacities, but that got 'rewarded' by giving them a 25% more casualties-bonus, which was kinda funny, also because it was a knife which cut at both sides (would you encounter 25% more casualties, or would the opponent encounter 25% more casualties?). Age 1 saw the real start of alliances and -in my opinion- the time of glory for N.O.O..
It was funny to have your troops carry 5 or more weapons each.. at the end, age 1 itself became boring, it lasted way too long. The war with TGA made it a bit funny again, but even that died out. Since, the game in itself died out more and more. The 25% casualties got changed in age2, which saw sabotage and Orcs with attack-bonus.. (the latter I found quite good, but the sabotage sucked big time). Beta... boring..

I remember my 300-soldier army flinging some 100 thousand knives at the enemy. It was fun!  :rolleyes:  

Well I'm just basing this on what I have seen, but now there isn't even sabotage to make elves good.

Age0 was the best.  No-one had played it before and so did not know loads of tricks to help them get ahead.  

Age 1 was the best- only because I wasn't around for Age 0.   LOL  

indeed.  age one was ownage.  back then i was proud of my 750k attack.  i was also proud of my 14k defense! LOL

Age 1 definetly. I really played KoC back then and at my zenith i had 5k elves. Age 2 i played halfheartedly and i don't play anymore

They need to make TBG much higher again.  :(  

what they need to do is get age one back and maybe add more weapons.  oh, and it would be nice if they upped TBG again too :).

We need to be able to trade, or change commanders/officers in the game, too.  :(

They should make it more realistic where the bigger armies get more gold...b/c of the extra people that can pillage instead of having like 500 soldiers be occupied by 50 or something.

I think I understand.  It should be more of an exponential growth... soldiers vs. TBG, instead of a linear "each soldier generates 26 gold" type of thingy.  I think?  :paranoid:  

but one more person will make alot more profound effect on a small army rather than a large army.

they should base recruits to you army on how good you do in battle or something...that would be interesting...

Too hard for the idiot programmers to do, but a cool idea.  ;)  

no, like if you win a battle you would gain pupularity points.  it would also go for defending attacks.  the more popularity points you get, the more people you get.

Like an automated unit production based on success rate of attacks.  Nifty idea.  But our admins out stupid. (No offense)

Maybe SS should make a promise on FoN date or he'll have to suck his foot?  That's some motivation.

Or if that's not enough maybe he'll have to lick rug's foot or something...

Stalling? Pffft. We're not moving at all, we're hovering in mid air with me having half a website done, but I've had to leave the plane to go get other stupid stuff done for a while. Hopefully I can hop back into the plane and get us going forward again at the weekend. Assuming nothing crap goes wrong, which it far too often does. :mellow:

Age two was good... but, they should have stopped it in early December.... 3 months would have been plenty.

Age 0 - I didn't play
Age 1 - No sabotage, Rank based on army size, no in game messages, 1 attack to take all money.... just very new stage of developement
Age 2 - Introduced sab... YEAH!, Rank not based on army size anymore,  in game messaging, it rocked... but, once just about everyone was sab immune, in game messages began to talk about peoples moms, mass attacks from accounts that do 20 damage... yet take 2-3 points off your skins.... then it was time to stop Age 2 and move on...
Age 2.5 (beta) - i'm sure it's all been said already  <_<  beta what? The new non sab, less money, more clicking age?

Tracy- sabbing was awful, pathetic, and became useless 1 month into the game.  ;)  

The problem with age 1 was inactivity, there should've been a thing cutting you off if you didn't go on a vacation mode.   The whole game got bottom heavy,  I remember my old name being deleted somehow and starting a new one.  I found at least a thousand accounts with the first letters legol(legolas spawns) inactive with over 2 million. (before I applied for TGA mind you) some reached into the tens of millions....  Age 2,  the sabatoge....  that was just nuts......   age 3  seems to have found the right mix but I'm wondering if the Elves are getting jipped.

yea b/c nobody really likes spying...it's not very helpful unless you really want to raise in rank.  I think that's the only thing that's keeping me afloat in rank.  I just don't like Age 3 cuz I haven't found any good farms and there seems to be so little money around.

Exactly, I can't find any farms either. :hmmm:  

i had some, but i outgrew those so i don't get much gold from them if i attack and most armies with more soldiers than mine have a really high defense <_<  

I can find people but it's a really bad turn out b/c I have a much larger army then people w/ crappy DA.

It may be just that I'm size 6, but I am finding plenty of wealthy guys who don't even own a knife.  maybe you all are just too big,  now that I'm 6 I'm starting to find guys with weapons though, so it's getting annoying.  but I found this really funny guy who was size 15, had towers, and not a single defensive weapon to his name.  his towers were worthless!

ummm....is that possible??? :blink: :huh:

maybe if he saved hundreds of attack turns and went on a major attack spree...or just got lucky and found somebody else that was going on an attack run and stole his gold :cool:  

but....15 people!!!!!!! THAT'S CRAZY!!!

/me thinks that that guy could make a few newbies very happy :P
