i play counter-strike pretty much everyday, i love the game. the fact that the half-life engine is getting a bit old and outdated doesnt mean shit, its still one of the best engines out there. ive tried most of the other mod's of HL, and personally nothing comes even close to cs. the aim, structure and overall idea of the whole game is bloody brilliant, and its by far the most addictive game i ever played (besides pacman, lemmings and elastomania...) i play competition counter-strike most of the time, i work at a LAN center so i'm usually running the competitions there, but at the big money comps, eg. state comps, me and the other 4 of my team usually play. anywho...i love cs, just thought i'd let you all know.. Now CS is 1.5 and FA is 2.7, it really is so much better... If you like sneakiness Willow is a good map, if you like deathmatch, Iwo is the king, and my favourite Push map is Crash.
