There's also a lot of naked women.
It's a very, very good film. If anyone ever asks how a phalanx works, reference the first battle scene.

I recommend watching "The Last Stand of the 300" by the History Channel. It got me really pumped to see the movie.

(Dilios is actually a composite of two real people, as well - 2 Spartans survived Thermopylae, according to Herodotus). Living with someone who does ancient history makes it a better film, I think... |
