Title: Nintendo Wii
Post by: evilknight on January 20, 2007, 02:07:04 AM
Can't. Freaking. Find. A. Wii.

I've been all over town to every store practically everyday for the past week. Nothing has shown up.
Any Wii shortages anywhere else?

There is a distinct lack of northerners if that counts

Is Britain big enough to have northerners and southerners? = /

LOL Haha!

Course it is. Britain don't have 51 states like the US, but we do have three countries, eighty-two counties, and at least half a dozen clearly identifiable regions/stereotypes... scottishes, northerners, welsh, midlanders, essex, londoners, south-west, southeners... infact that's eight and I think I've maybe missed a couple.

Three countries? I thought it was four - England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland?

Northern Ireland isn't part of Great Britain.

It is part of the United Kingdom though.

Although neither GB nor UK includes the Isle of Man and Channel Islands. The term used to also include them is the British Isles, which can contraversially include Ireland as well.

Sounds overly complicated.
Here in the ol-you-ess-ayy, we seperate ourselves by state, county, and of course, race. ^_^

Obviously you're just imagining stuff now.

Next thing you know you'll start talking about a made up "royal family" or something like that. :P

The Royal Family? They're not made up - they're the biggest vampire clan in the isles.

i was just about to create this topic, but not for the same reason, being that my cousin has a wii, and it is sweet. day of defeat is really difficult on it though, but the system overall is really addictive

I finally got a Wii today. ^_^
Had to stand in sleet and rain for one and a half hours, but it was worth it.
Got Zelda and Rayman for it. Rayman for life.

note for those who have a wii hooked up to the web:

Apparently Videlectrix (the folks at homestarrunner) have modified some of their old games to work online with the wii remote.

Might be worth investigating if you get a chance.
