if i cant train then what the heck are the good 4... its not like you can give them weapons....

untrained mercenaries are good for siege fodder.
first to die, in ANY combat.
I don't think they even get the weapons before your general soldiers do... but i haven't gotten enough weapons to test that

Yep, I keep untrained mercenaries only to die first... they can be replaced easily and don't cost/worth much

Defense mercs and offense mercs are being used by the top people as fodder to keep their attack/defense army small and replaceable. I heard that Orc00 has about 10000 mercs.

Well, personally I see no reason to destroy Orc. I think more people are mad at Lord Striker right now... Personally I just like to keep to myself, and just attack those who attack me.
