Why does it always take over 30 seconds to load the forums after midnight (Eastern time) when at a more reasonable hour the page loads in like 4 seconds?  :miffed:

Dunno.

Possibly it's because the server is backed up at that time? Or there's some other site on here that does lots of processing then.

Assuming it's a server thing and not a network one - do a tracert and see if/where it slows down.

Ok, I did an informal analysis of load speed compared to time for the forums.  Around 11:30 PM EST the forums get sloooow, then begin to get better around 3:30-4:00 AM... what's going on between those times, I have no idea.  Wink
